Description

The beaten path is not always the most memorable! On the other hand, the tracks less taken are quite often the ones which offer the greater adventures. Gravel roads are everywhere, and if you belong to the “Go anywhere, anytime” club, Gravel might be your next big thing. With the Addict Gravel Disc, SCOTT enters the offroad segment with a fresh looking rig based on famous benchmark models with a great history.

There is no doubt that Gravel biking is a trend that is no longer limited to certain regions of the world but rather is starting to become an important category across the globe. Thanks to a lightweight HMF Carbon frame, disc brakes and Shimano components the Addict Gravel Disc is ready for every challenge on any road, be it during a race or a multi-day tour. The development of the Addict Gravel Disc resulted in a 990-gram HMF Carbon frame with a race-ready endurance geometry, clearance for wide tires, disc brakes, and stiff thru-axle.

Everything runs internally to keep it clean, literally and visually. The chain catcher keeps it from dropping off the inside during aggressive shifts, and the UCI approval sticker pretty much says it’s the Addict CX frame, just with a different carbon layup.

Condition

The bike is in used condition with a few chips as expected from a gravel bike, feel free to browse the photos. The bike is structurally sound with no cracks at all, however, there is some rub where the paint has come off (non drive side chainstay outer from heel rub and the inner drive side chainstay from slightly wider tyres.  Both are purely paint and surface and hasn't affected the carbon). Mechanically sound with smooth shifting and solid braking.  The headset and bottom bracket are a little loud so may need replacing after some use.
